Yuto Kanazawa is a NY based guitarist and award winning composer originally from Japan. He has been in the US for over ten years performing with renowned musicians including Grammy winning singer Kurt Elling, Phil Wilson, Don Pate, Ron McClure, Kuni Mikami, Gregg Errico and Jerry Martini from Sly and Family Stone, Rogério Boccato, Darrell Green, Gabriel Vivas, Takeshi Ohbayashi, Jonathan Pinson, Mario Castro, Felix Peikli, Zwelakhe-Duma Bell le Pere and many others. Yuto released his first album Earthwards from Interrobang Records in 2013, and taking important role in making The United East Jazz Quintet (2014), Japanese band Itellu's album Planets (2015) and Meditations (2016) duo project with Costa Rican guitarist Diego Diaz. Yuto is also a member of Song Sparrow, NY based unique project that combines jazz and Japanese folk music.

He has been placed in semi-finals and finals in several different competitions, and most notably his composition "Truth & the Abstract Blues" was selected as the first place of International Songwriting Competition 2013 in jazz category.

Yuto has been toured and performed in US, Japan, Korea, Mexico, and Guatemala. In the US he has appeared at Scullers Jazz Club, Ryles Jazz Club, Bar Next Door, Wally's Jazz Cafe, Bluenote, B.B. King Lucille Cafe, Cleopatra's Needle, Shapeshifter Lab, Bitter End, and Terraza 7 and many other locations.
